Welcome to the Caribbean Philanthropic Alliance (CariPhil).

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CariPhil’s website, platforms, tools, and services, including membership, convenings, events, and the Funder Database Platform (FDP).

By accessing or using CariPhil services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Scope of Services

CariPhil operates as a philanthropy-serving organization (PSO) and intermediary that provides:

• Membership and partnership engagement
• Convenings and events
• Data tools and funding insights (including FDP)
• Knowledge-sharing platforms
• Ecosystem coordination services

3. Eligibility

Users must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Use services in compliance with applicable laws

Organizations must be duly registered where applicable.

4. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

• Misrepresent identity or affiliation
• Use the platform for unlawful or harmful purposes
• Share misleading, fraudulent, or inappropriate content
• Interfere with system functionality or security

CariPhil reserves the right to suspend or restrict access for violations.

5. Membership & Contributions

Membership is subject to:

• Application and approval
• Due diligence review
• Contribution levels as outlined in the Membership Policy

CariPhil reserves the right to approve, deny, or modify participation.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, tools, and branding are owned or licensed by CariPhil.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use content without prior written consent.

7. Data & Platform Use (FDP)

Users agree to:

• Use data responsibly and ethically
• Not extract, scrape, or misuse platform data
• Respect confidentiality and platform integrity

CariPhil does not guarantee completeness or accuracy of third-party data.

8. No Guarantee of Funding

Participation in CariPhil does not guarantee access to funding, grants, partnerships, or investment opportunities.

9. Disclaimer of Advice

Information provided by CariPhil is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, or investment advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

CariPhil is not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages
• Loss of data or opportunities
• Decisions made based on platform content

11. Termination
