Industry Supporter
Industry Supporter

Role: Provide services, mobilize support, and strengthen the broader philanthropy and development ecosystem

An industry partner is a non-grant-making entity that includes non-profit organizations, cooperatives, and incorporated entities that provide environmental, social, and governance (ESG) services or deliver a range of social, health, educational, agricultural, and other services within the Caribbean region.

This category also includes philanthropy platforms and networks—primarily non-grant-making entities such as global and regional platforms, campaigns, and intermediary networks—that mobilize and channel philanthropic capital. In some cases, these entities may also deploy funds directly as part of their programs or pooled funding initiatives.

Together, these entities expand participation in giving, strengthen coordination across the philanthropy sector, and play a critical role in shaping giving behaviors, unlocking new donor segments, and amplifying collective impact within the Caribbean region.

Examples include:

  • Non-profit organizations and cooperatives delivering social and community services
  • ESG advisory firms and sustainability-focused organizations
  • Health, education, agriculture, and social service providers
  • Philanthropy platforms and global giving campaigns
  • Regional philanthropy networks and pooled giving initiatives
  • Donor-advised and intermediary giving platforms
  • Collaborative funding and campaign-based initiatives

An individual supporter operates as a sole practitioner providing a range of services within the Caribbean region. These individuals are passionate about advancing Caribbean philanthropic causes and are changemakers actively delivering tangible support to strengthen the philanthropic ecosystem.

Examples include:

  • Independent consultants and advisors supporting philanthropy, development, or ESG initiatives
  • Community leaders and practitioners driving local solutions
  • Researchers, educators, and subject-matter experts
  • Social entrepreneurs and independent project leaders
  • Diaspora professionals contributing skills, networks, or resources
Change Maker
Change Maker

Role: Enable inclusive participation, amplify grassroots engagement, and foster collaboration across diverse actors within the philanthropy ecosystem

A Change Maker represents individuals and groups actively contributing to social, environmental, and community impact across the Caribbean and its diaspora. This pathway is designed to ensure accessibility while maintaining the integrity and intentionality of the broader ecosystem.

Change Makers may engage through one of two pathways:

Fee-Based Participation: Engagement through the Implementing Supporter membership tier, with applicable fees.

Non-Fee-Based Participation: Entry through a structured application and internal review process. This pathway is selective and not automatic, ensuring alignment with ecosystem values and priorities.

Examples include:

  • Youth leaders and student-led initiatives
  • Grassroots organizations and community-based groups
  • Volunteer-led or early-stage initiatives
  • Informal collectives contributing to social and community impact
